The Eliminating Gel's magical ingredient is salicylic acid, which is the active ingredient in most acne clearing preparations. This preparation has a reasonably high salicylic acid content, therefore working quickly to remove bacteria, however is gentle enough to use twice daily. This product is non greasy and also has moisturizing properties, so you don't need to worry about your skin drying out. Another great thing about it is it also help to fade acne scars from previous pimples. Now this product is best used for people who have occasional breakouts. It especially works really well on those little red "pre-pimple" spots that appear. If you have really bad acne then I wouldn't reccommend this product, its simply not strong enough. The product comes in a tiny little bottle, which at first I thought wouldn't last that long. The solution however spreads really easily so you hardly need to use any - meaning a bottle goes a long way! |
Neutrogena Acne Eliminiting Gel claims to eliminate your acne in 8 hours. Although this product doesn't magically erase pimples, it does a pretty good job of reducing redness and size (at least to an extent that can be hidden with make up!)
