Hi all!
Okay, a few years ago this style would have been deemed "geeky", however at the moment the side pony seems to be one of the hottest new hair styles, especially on the runway!
In the Spring 2009 Naeem Khan runway show, side ponys were taken to the extreme - high, and well and truly to the side!

To recreate this style, you need to wash your hair, and use a little straightening product. (I like Garnier Smoothing Milk, $9.95).
Part your hair to one side just above the ear. Using a hair dryer and a paddle brush, blow dry your hair straight.
Use a straightening iron, to finish completely straightening your hair, and then smooth a serum through your hair to minimize frizz.
Next pull into a high pony, a couple of inches above your ear, and secure with an elastic.
To add a little more to the pony, pop in a cute clip or flowered hair tie, however just make sure it doesn't look OTT as this style is quite striking as it is!
The high pony definitely makes a statement, and this extreme should only be worn out at night time. To create this look for the day, pull the pony down to below your ear for a fresh look, that will look great at school or work!
Till next time!
