I love this product, and not for the reason it was intended. Being a blackhead eliminating scrub you would expect it to annihilate blackheads, however its not actually that great at that. Instead, this product is a great exfoliator, and that's why I use it.

The formula is a thick cream like substance with hundreds of little jojoba esters which work as exfoliators to remove dead skin, and leave your face with a fresh glow. The product is 2% salicylic acid, which is supposed to be the key ingredient for clearing away blackheads. Although it doesn't really do much in that department, it does help to prevent new ones, and also the formation of other acne.

This daily scrub is also brilliant for use at the end of the day, as it completely removes all traces of makeup.

If your after a blackhead eliminating product then this isn't really the one for you. However if you just want an exfoliating scrub that does wonders for your skin, while keeping acne at bay then I'd would definitely recommend this product.

NEUTROGENA PORE REFINING CLEANSER - RRP $14.99

The Pore Refining Cleanser from Neutrogena is a mild cleanser which is supposed to refine your skin, giving it an even tone, whilst also reducing the size of your pores.

This product is a gentle cream cleanser which contains microbeads to help sweep away dead skin cells, make up, and other impurities on this skin. After using this cleanser you'll be left with clean, fresh feeling skin. It is absolutely brilliant for removing make up, however after using this product for quite a while I didn't really see any reduction in my pore size.

Neutrogena Pore Refining Cleanser contains Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids which assist in the skin smoothing process, as they also help to minimize wrinkles. A warning though, AHA's and BHA's do react with the sun, meaning that after using this product you have an increased risk of getting sunburnt. So after using be sure to apply sunscreen!
